As a small child James was healed of scarlet fever and brights disease.
As James grew up in his local church he became the youth pastor, served on the deacon board and accepted the call in the ministry.
James held many revivals throughout the southern states. He was the director of the Promise Land Choir, traveling and singing
at conventions and revivals. He was also a pastor in the early years of his ministry. James traveled full time for two years
in a tent ministry before forming a singing group with his family called "The James Wright Family." THe group toured
and traveled through many states which included, Texas, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Florida, North Carolina and Georgia.
James still travels and sings and also Pastors a
church called Redemption Christian Center. The group includes himself, wife Edna, daughter Glenda, and grandson Brandon.

Edna Wright was born in a small town just west of Atlanta, Ga. When
she was eight years old, her family moved to Florida. She was raised the daughter of a minister, traveling, preaching and
singing until after her graduation from high school. The family lived many places while her dad pastored churches throughout
Florida. Everywhere the family moved, Edna started a group to sing at their local church as well as singing with her family.
Through the years, she has been a Sunday School teacher, youth leader, children's church director and sang with the choir.
She has been a mother to many with her love for people and a friend to all. Edna now sings alto and travels with her husband James, daughter Glenda, and grandson Brandon. The family
group is called " The Wright Family." Edna enjoyes traveling and singing. She loves meeting people wherever they
go.

Glenda has been singing gospel music since she was a small
child. When she was young, she played the piano and her twin sister played the bass with the group called, " The James
Wright Family." Glenda attened school at Douglasville Christain Academy where she and Brian Free were in state competitions
together. Now, she sings with her Dad James, Mother Edna, and son Brandon with the group called, "The Wright Family."
She has two children, Brandon 16 and Mitchell 13. Several
years ago, Glenda was offered a country music career but chose to sing gospel music and stay with her family group. She is
a very gifted songwriter and several of her songs have been nationally released. Glenda is very dedicated to God and fulfills
her purpose by spreading God's word through song.

Brandon is 16 years old. Soon to be 17. He started doing the
sound for The Wright Family when he was 10. He started playing the drums with the group when he was 13. Brandon is very gifted
with the drums. He enjoys playing and traveling with his family. He likes to meet new people when they travel. When Brandon was two years old he was healed from Cystic Fibrosis.
